Tauck

One Family. One Company. One Passion.

Roots are important – they connect the past with the present and provide a strong foundation for future endeavors built on a legacy of integrity and trust. Our success over the past 95 years is a direct result of our commitment to "do the right thing," which began with our founder Arthur Tauck, Sr. in 1925.

We believe that when you travel with us, it should be effortless. It should transform, re-energize and be beyond the ordinary. And above all else, it should be fun. We are still singularly focused on the satisfaction of our guests. We never rest on our laurels and continue to innovate and enhance our journeys every year based on guest feedback. Our deep, longstanding relationships with our travel partners bring guests incomparable travel experiences around the world, on all seven continents.

Meet the Tauck Family

Three generations of Taucks have been pioneers in escorted travel since our first tour through New England in 1925. Today, 95 years later, Tauck family members continue to guide our company and oversee 140+ unique Tauck travel experiences.

Maintaining Tauck’s high standards for quality and comfort, ms Grace cruises exclusively for Tauck on the Rhine River as part of our Destination Fleet. With a maximum of 130 guests, the 443-foot riverboat and her sister ships continue our tradition of providing more space per guest on Europe’s inland waterways, transporting fewer passengers than most longships (135 meters). Her deck plan is innovative; with a total of 67 cabins, our most popular cabins tend to be our largest... so we have used the added ship length to offer twenty-two 300-square-foot Tauck Suites – the most of any river cruise ship on any European river. To increase the amount of natural sunlight on the lower deck, we’ve created 8 loft cabins that extend from the first to the second decks, providing guests with an additional view; all windows in these loft cabins open.

Accommodating up to 130 passengers as she winds her way along the mighty Rhine River to offer our guests exclusive Tauck discoveries in timeless cities like Amsterdam, Nimegen, Heidelberg, Bonn, Köln, Koblenz, Strasbourg and Basel, ms Grace leads the way in spacious comfort with the most space per guest on Europe’s rivers.

Guest amenities inside her 14 lush 300-square-foot Tauck Suites include brocade upholstery, roomy walk-in closets with built-in drawers, spacious marble baths with full-size tubs, and two French balconies with floor-to-ceiling windows that open to idyllic riverscapes. She also sports twenty roomy 225-square-foot cabins, four 183-square-foot cabins and one 182 square-foot cabin, similarly furnished. Eight 150-square-foot cabins are cozy and comfortable, and are similar in décor and style to our larger suites. 85% have floor-to-ceiling windows with real French balconies that open on to a balcony in the fresh air; all have in-room movies, minibar, adjustable heating and cooling, private bathroom and shower with pampering toiletries. In addition to our main dining room, The Compass Rose, the ship also features Arthur's, a second dining venue offering casual fare.
